Default Custom sub box

Hey all, was wondering if anyone built their own custom sub box. I wanted to build one and save some cash rather then spending a bunch on a new one an get a sense of accomplishment as wel lol. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a DIY sticky or has the dimensions on it?

This is what you should figure out yourself. The MDF thickness you purchase will depend on the size/weight of the sub you will be using though 1/2" or 3/4" will most likely suit your needs.

You should pay approximately $10 for a sheet of MDF that will be more than large enough to build a box in the S. Keep in mind that MDF has formaldehyde, so definitely take the necessary precautions to protect yourself while cutting.

buy this and just build some faux wall on top. This thing is only 8" but with the right amp it hits harder than my old 12" kicker solobaric.
I only runs it with old punch 100a2. But full gain and +12db bass setting. But I have to turn it the sub down using the head unit. This thing is seriously good. I can't imagine if it has a real 250W amp.
