Default Custom Sub Enclosure replacing spare tire?

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever taken out the spare tire and created a fiberglass enclosure for a 10" sub in its place? I thought this might be an interested place to put it, out of the way, and out of sight

I've seen where people have mounted amps there, but not subs. Maybe you should be the first! It might work well with a thin sub like the JL 13TW5 or something from the Pioneer shallow series.

I can't imagine that a 10 could fit there. MABEY an 8, but it would be a nightmare.

Dont make fun of my dirty trunk.. Yes the box fits, that buldge that the tire cover has comes in handy makes me able to make the box longer..

If you noticed my tray for underneath the convertable is on the ground.. That is because I had to make my own tray because the cheap plastic one rattled, so I made one out of MDF and had holes cut into ito for air into the cabin... All carpeted to so it looks stock

Not the best photo but you can see it.
