Sort of on-topic: I'd love to change the color to blue, but it's currently out of my budget. Is there any way to just re-skin the face of it? I've not really looked, but I'd imagine the face is made of a semi-transparent plastic.

Would there be some way to just come up with a custom looking print to either go over the top of it, or replace the skin, without running into issues with it not lighting up correctly?

I was told you could not do this.....that you needed custom LCD panels. If he did indeed accomplish this by just resoldering some LED's to the board, let me know, as that will not be a problem for me, and will probably be pretty cheap too!
