Default Dash Controls Resistances

Has anyone actually checked the resistances on the contacts when the various buttons are pressed (and not pressed)? How do they align with the values listed in the Helms Manual?

I ask because the friend of mine that is helping me with a little project for the controls and my Empeg say that the values listed in the Helms Manual are not possible based on the circuit diagram 2 pages earlier.

I don't keep them on hand but I know that at rest it reads about 9,000 ohms - 10,000 ohms. Other buttons go as low as I believe 90ohms.

Shelly's sight had the values and I think they were from the Helms manual.

You should never see higher than a resistance of 10k + tolerance. I don't have the Helms manual, but 300k is way too large.

I've been working on some dash controls interface for some time, it's a more complicated project than it looks at first glance, believe me! I have included an RS-232 interface on the unit I have designed. I have been planning on including serial control of third party MP3 players, so this unit will be capable of that. Still going to be a few weeks before it is available though.
