Nice job Dave!
I think the problem with the install is when a NFR owner works on a Suzuka the Suzuka just doesn't want to make our life easy. I did a simular install two weeks ago and I had the same problem.
I also donated a couple pounds of flesh.
Now can we see the finished project, or didn't Dave get it done?

make sure the subwoofer out is turned on in the menus?
lol, Dave and i work alike...
minus the diet on the Coke and the cigs. add in some random sugar.
sorry to hear about your face first run in...
regretfully, i kinda know that feeling. dang saw.
Once it's hooked up, everything works, first time.
By now, Dave's been working on this car for 12 hours straight, and hasn't ingested anything but some water, a Diet Coke, and quite a few cigarettes. I think maybe he's a cyborg

I knew the Dremel would work!!!
That must be a HUGH magnet!! I made the box so I can say it. The magnet from that sub is so big it actually keep the sub from sitting properly. So I told Dave to Dremel the wood a little bit, knowing it wouldn't affect the 3/4 MDF I used to make it
Sorry Dave! That's way I like getting the sub before I start the build
Glad it worked out however...
How was the ER?...

Anyway, a big youre welcome to Dave. I do this because I like to, also, I like to teach those that I install the system for how everything is, in case there is ever a problem, theyll know how to fix it, take off panels etc. Dave helped a lot, and hopefully learned something.
Again, I apologize for taking so long, but I am a perfectionist, and want things done right. I did it tho....no bad connections, no crossed wires, everything worked on the first try.Next, the people who are interested in John's (Darkknight's) boxes...
The quality is stellar. The silicone is piped perfectly, and the box is VERY well made.
Highly recommend his work.
Id like to thank Modifry for his fanstastic DCI, works like a charm, and the intructions are full/fool proof. Great product.
Id like to thank Jimbo (PAs2kNUT) for his fantastic amp rack and spare tire bubble cover....fit is perfect, carpeting job is perfect, and customer service is perfect. (Thanks for calling back Jim!)
Overall, I had a great time, Dave almost shed a tear when he found out he might not get honey mustard with his Mcdonalds crispy strips, and the opportunity to help a fellow member. Like I said, this section of s2ki is the only reason I am still on here.
:grouphug:
I finished the install, just not the trunk itself. Since I didnt have a battery terminal nor a grounding terminal, I rigged it in a way so that Dave has music to drive home to (3 hour drive) and he'd finish the rest....just zip tie the wires, and install Jims cover. The system part was finished 100%. It was like 10:30 at night, I had to go soon because it was my friend's birthday, and my girlfriend was waiting for me since 8pm to pick her up, I felt bad that dave was stuck with me that long, so we decided that he is more than capable of finishing at home.
