any idea why that is - is that the extra special price??
Or maybe they mean they'll send you the missing manual after the first email instead of re-asking for your address 4 times and still never mailing it.

Oh... and I retract all my preivous recommendations for products from their company.

may be a good place to smoke out deals, since that's all the site is for. Use the search function for like "car speakers".

This is not necessarily s2k-centric unless you have a PC in your car, but if you live in an area of the country where Fry's is, this is a DEAL.
Fry's has an 7200rpm ATA/133 160gb drive advertised this weekend for $69.99, no brand specified, no rebate, just cash price.
Turns out that is the full retail box version of the high-end Maxtor with Fluid Dynamic bearings (liquid bearings) that are VERY quiet and run fairly cool. For the past 2 years I have been using them in all my TIVO's and both of my home servers.
Staples has the same drive on sale at $110. I much prefer $70 , took the wife to get a 2nd since it was a 1-per-customer thing.

This came up in the Alpine iPod thread:
For those looking for the KCA-420i iPod interface or anything else from Crutchfield, they usually have a 10% off $50+ coupon floating around for Visa Card purchases. For me this made the total cost of the KCA-420i $89.99 shipped.
An example is here:

But should this link go dead you can search google for "crutchfield coupon" and usually come up with something for either Visa or MC.
