Default diamond or phoenix gold amp....

which is a better brand to go with? Both about 100 x 4 max output power.

Also, while I'm at it....what size speakers are in the front of the s2k?

Thanks

It depends on the levels. Low end PG and Diamond are VASTLY different from high end PG and Diamond. I love the high end Diamond that used to be Esoteric amps. The high end Ti Series PG is also VERY good.

At 100X4 I assume you are referring to the newer PG Xenon series. The TIs were great but only went up to 75X4. The reason I didn't go with the Xenon is that it has a similar power supply limiter to the JL amps. So if you bridge the channels you only get 200 watts. If you are just planning on running 2 or 4 speakers up front then it would work great, but it's not much power for a sub other then one of the 8"s.

The fronts are 6&1/2" BTW.
