difference between the 9833 and the 9835

Default difference between the 9833 and the 9835

hi i was wonder what make 9835 more xpensive? can someone that knows both headunits explain the difference to me?

The best thing to do is read the spec's on Alpine's website. There is quite a bit of differences'.

You should go to their website and print out the PDF of the owners manual for both units (could be that the same manual covers both units). That's what I did when I was shopping, I knew exactly what I was getting ahead of time.

The same manual does cover both units. Best I can tell is the core inner workings are the same - equalizer, time-delay settings, ect. The main differences are largely the display and display driven features.

i think the bling is bigger on the 9835, other than that i know of no other differences.

i own the 9833 BTW

Ok let me clear this up...

There are quite a few differences.... so download the manual and read though it and you can see the differences as each one is list though-out. Example: Setting the time and calendar (CDA-9835 only)

They have differences. Some are added on and useful, some are bling and some are just the same as the other but used in a different way.

The 9835 also has an external DC-DC converter as opposed to the 9833s built in unit.
