Do you have any sound damping on your door?

I might the glove box door thing. I do not have any sound deadening but the lock and button rattle like crazy and seems like they do on most peoples cars with the sub in the trunk. So installed in the glove box I am sure it would be much worse.

What your set up look like? How big are your subs? I was thinking of going with a good 8" to minimize rattling but I don't know if it is going to be powerful enough to kick as much as I would like. I am hoping it won't be an issue since the S is such a small car.

I don't have any pics unfortunately. It's a very common place to mount the sub so I ams sure there are pics to be found on here.

I just have an Infinity 10" sub and an old school Soundstream 4 channel amp.

Would you say that a sub was worth it it to increase sound quality in your S or did it just make the rattle worse. Is it noticeable with the top down?

Definitely worth it! Top down driving most of the bass is drowned out for me unless going slower. Top up I can hear it great.

I have removed the rear tray however which allows much more bass to come into the cabin since that has sound deadening material on it.
