Default directions on removing rear tray

Can someone tell me how I can remove the rear tray to stop my rattling? I'm reading posts about taking it apart from the cabin and trunk? which way? It doesn't even look like the pieces can come out.

And also, will I have any problems with an '02? (glass top)

subscribed! I've been trying everything to get rid of the rattle for weeks now.

I've heard of people removing their tray without a problem, but Honda must've put it there for a reason.....right?

I want to take it all out though, without damaging the top/glass. Any help?

you will NOT be able to get the tray over your roll bar. you must remove the spare and the lining in the trunk and pull it out through the trunk itself. Just remove all clips for the rear tray and then pull it out of the trunk. Once the spare is removed it will fall down slightly so you can pull it out that way

Is there any safety issues with the glass top that need to be resolved if you take out the tray? Will it break/get damaged?

Tried giving it a shot, took out the 3 plastic screws holding the tray from the cabin, then went to the trunk to take it out. It just doesn't come out???
