On my CR-V it was nothing more than pulling a fuse. Check the inside fuse panel, and see if there is a fuse called Daytime, Day Lights, etc. It was a 3.5A fuse.

a while back my power mirror fuse blew and the DRLs went along with the mirrors. odd i know, but since it's rare to readjust side mirrors, maybe it's an option if you don't want to spend the few minutes to remove the bulb from the cluster.
