Default diy aftermarket deck?

well i know the basic of installing a new deck cause ive done it plenty of times, but with most other cars its pretty easy to take the deck out. Does anyone know how to remove the deck? i have a my08 if that matters

One thing missing from this write up is that you will need to lift out your armrest first. You can do this by pulling up on the edges of armrest/shifter trim, then proceed to pull off the radio trim. If you find that the armrest is still in your way, you'll need to first:

- back off the shifter locknut
- unscrew the shiftknob
- lift the armrest
- unplug the top/hazard/defrost wires
- then lift away the armrest.

Yeah, the bottom edge of the radio trim collides with the front edge(in front of the shifter) of the armrest and cannot be pulled out.
