You still should try them them amp. There is a big difference. I install the same way as you did.

you can pry the tweeter mount off of the stock tweeter and use double stick tape instead of glue, works just as good and easy to replace tweeter if needed in the future.

awesome write up. If anyone could do this to show how they installed tweeters into an MY00, it woudl be greatly appreciated.
