im trying to find a DIY for these two things so i can help cut out some labor hours for the shop charging me ya know. anyone have an idea where the ideal location to install these pieces thanks

If your EMS is a 1052, then it will fit in the stock location on the driver's side kick panel.

I believe most people mount the earlier 1012 EMS and injector driver under the seats.

 

i do have the 1012. so the wires would reach under the seats?

 

No, the wires do not reach under the seat. You need a VTECFrog or similar extension harness to put it under the seat. Some people will cut the stock EMS mounts to make it fit behind the stock kick panel (no extension harness needed).

Same what? Extension harness? Nope.

The wires from the EMS will now go to the injector driver box instead of the actual injectors. Then new wires from the inj driver box to the injectors.
