I think I gotta add that mod to my Sony with DCU. You can never have too many buttons.
Hey Aus, what side of the steering wheel are your audio controls on? It would be harder to do a core exchange if I need RHD cores too...

Well, I've been brainstorming this all day, and I'm pretty sure I can do this as a core exchange, assuming I can find some extra audio control assemblies. No promises yet, and definitely not taking any official orders yet, but here's the interest list so far, just in case this actually goes into production...

1) Souljah6476 - Alpine 7995
2) MajorHavoc - Alpine ????
3) Woodson - Alpine 7995
4) Lightning - Alpine 7995
5) AusS2000 -Sony with DCU
6) ricosuave - ????
7) demonderrick - Alpine 7995

I can probably only crank out two or three of these a week in my spare time (I have a real job, too ), because most of the work is manual labor. So don't worry guys, your spots are reserved.

Hey, Alpine isn't giving me any kickbacks to promote their product!

great idea, nice work!

The dash control units retail around $160, so you'd probably be $300-400 range if you sold it?
If i remember correctly, the whole dash cluster has to come to to get the controller unit out, so its probably something for audio shops or people with the skill.

Any way you can do something with the UK s2000 hardwire alpine units?
