I have the 9835 and you do not need any mounting kit. Just take out the OEM headunit and unscrew the brackets on the side of the OEM headunit. Then use the brackets to mount your head unit. You will need a wiring harness, and if you want to have your dash controls you will need a DCI to maintain the controls. You can find information on DCI controls here.
