Like the topic title says? I know they are deeper than Alpine units but do they fit without problems?

I just ordered the KDC-X794 and its supposed to be delivered Friday. I will let you know. I just am worried where to mount the Sirius brain.

 

Yes, they will fit . Nice HU. used to own one.

 

Ok cool.. I will dwell on this I may go with the Alpine CDA-105.

 

Fits great. Its actually smaller than the stock radio. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Thats the exact model I wanted to get. I have had 2 eXcelon units in the past, 92 civic hatch, 97 vw gti. I love everything about them and how easy they are to use. Need pics asap!!!!

 

It fit just perfect. Doesn't wash out in the sun. Sounds 10x better/louder than the stock unit. Mounted the 2 brains for sirius on the firewall in the passenger footwell. Mounted my amp in the spare tire area.

The stock mounting brackets bolted right up too and the door closes without a problem.

 

Absolutely. Be mindful of excess wiring and you should be fine.
