Default Dual 12" Sub Box Build Diary

I know what many of you are thinking, whoa two 12's in the wheel well area is way to much. But after some calculations I figured If i have around 2.4 cu ft then I'll have a Qcb of around .8, which will give me a decent compromise between most kinds of music. I looks like I'll have 2ft at the most so I'll use fiberfill to create the rest.

Oh, and it's going to be covered in Carbon Fiber

Here's what it looks like right now. 1 layer of cloth and 2-3 layers of mat on the bottom. I've cut the rings and glued them in place overnight, and then glued in the braces next. I've tacked a few pieces of mat between the mdf and fiberglass bottom after figuring out the positioning.

Tonight I'll put a few more layers of glass to join the MDF to the glass, and will put in two braces in the middle of the box to give it some more strength.

Actually I have my first question. Here's the terminals I bought. I'll have two + and two - going into it, so I just bought this one. Are the metal leads on it too small to support 500RMS? If they are I'll just buy a terminal with two huge banana plugs on it and then split the signal inside the box. Let me know what u guys think:

Just some Volfenhag 12" DVC's. Not the best in SQ but I got them mainly because of the red aluminum cone.

those terminials look fine. You would want to be able to input at least 14-12G wire though.

I have 11GA and it'll fit in there just fine.

by the way it is 500RMS per input, so i was worried about it being too thin. I guess when I solder it it'll get thick enough
