Default Ebay Audio Stuff

Anybody have any thoughts on buying audio equipment from vendors (not individuals) on Ebay? There are some really good deals there. Much better than even internet retailers. Does anybody have any info or thoughts, experiences? Many of them say "new in sealed box", cite the appropriate manufacturers warranty, claim not to be gray market. Am I missing anything here? Your thoughts are appreciated.

No.

Don't do it.

Buy from authorized dealers. It will save you in the long run.

I bought amps of ebay at more the 50% off, always check the sellers feedback, he needs alot of feedback with almost all positives. I always read the negative if there is any.
But anyways all the stuff Ive ever got has been new and lasted for years, actually none of the equipment ive bought has died.

my experiences... i got a hifonix amp with no problems at all from an ebay vendor. but i also got the alpine pdx 4.100 and have been having issues with a weird hiss. when i have enough time i will be buying a new pdx from an authorized dealer.

i think for stuff like HU and speakers ebay is np, but i would get an amp locally.

I bought my head unit, speakers, and sub on ebay and sub box. Saved tons of money for the same parts I would have bought in a store.
As long as they're real parts and all and they good feedback and a legit seller why not..

Like 2003s2k2003, I have also bought 95% of my audio stuff on ebay. sonixelectronics.com is also an ebay vendor but their website has cheaper prices.

I got an Xtant 1.1I on eBay long after it had gone out of production. Brand new in box and at a substantial discount. Continues to work flawlessly. Using it to power my Aura Bass Shakers.
