Ebay Electronics Warranty?
If I were to purchase items like HU or speakers from ebay sellers/stores (with the buy it options rather than straight-up bidding from individual), do the manufacturer's warranty still stand or are they voided?
Would I be better off avoiding these ebay sellers?

usually voided, you'll sometimes get lucky and find an actual dealer selling on ebay and that case you might be ok. a lot of the dealers on ebay will give you a warranty through them instead of the mfr.
imho the prices on ebay are not that good. you can usually find the same items from authorized dealers for about the same amount. places line onlinecarstereo.com, etronics.com, thezeb.com, ikesound.com, millionbuy.com. there is a lot less risk buying from these places.

If the item is new in the manufacturer's box, the manufacturer's warranty is perfectly valid. Used items usually carry no warranty, even if a single day old as most warranties are non-transferable. I will usually use eBay to find a shop with good prices on what I want, then call that shop directly so I can use my credit card in case they decide to stiff me.
There's a lot of re-furbished stuffed on ebay so be careful. I've come across many items in electronics, specially car audio that are refurbished. They only mention it in the fine print and back it up with their own warranties instead of the manufacturer. I normally do not buy anything new on ebay and go to the local store instead.
