Default Edead vs. Dynamat

I've done seaches and it seems Edead is the same this as dynamat but cheaper. I want to sound proof my car some and there's a group buy going on for dynamat right now. So what do you guys think??

Here is a link to a great comparison and ranking of the current crop of available sound deadening solutions

108 sq.ft. of Dynamat X-treme in my S2K. (3 Bulk Packs). That comparison site is quite informative.

I've just finished doing the floorpan of my '06 with SecondSkin's Damplifier Pro (I'll be putting the seats back in today, in fact). That sounddeadenershowdown.com site was what prompted me to look at SecondSkin. From an installation standpoint, Damplifier Pro seems like a quality product; now I can't wait to get back on the road and see how it is from a sound deadening standpoint!

Ed

P.S. SecondSkin gives a pretty healthy discount to people that subscribe to their forum, so if you were interested in their products, make sure you get an account on their forum and mention it when you order!

The link to the showdown shows the old version of edead. There is a new one called edead v1se, which is butyl based and not asphalt based. I used this one in my car and it's extremely easy to apply and does just as good a job as the more expensive ones at a fraction of the cost.
