Default Electric Load protector. PLEAS HELP alternator doesn't charge

Hello, I have a s2k year 2000. My alternator doesn't want to charge. The scanner said that is the "Electronic load protector" but I am not sure cause I can't find that only part anywhere. You guys know where I can find that part?

If it doesn't work what else can it be?

and if there's a specific relay that connect to the alternator ?

Have your battery load tested as these fail routinely while alternators rarely fail.

The battery does work cause the voltometro charge at 12.0 basically the car is running with the battery only. I already checked with advance auto parts if the new alternator that I put is working. And it is working. But doesn't want to charge. I feel so frustrated right now

12.0vDC is a dead battery. The car won't run on battery very long, the battery is just there to start the car not run it that's the alternator's job.

Alternator output should be constant in the 13.7vDC range, and into the 14s if the battery is depleted. A bad battery can still show 12.6v (full charge). Get it load tested before throwing more parts at it. 10 minutes at any car parts store most of which is standing around as the test takes only seconds once the hood/bonnet is open.

Check the ELD fuse. If I remember, its in the fuse box under the dash. I had this same problem on a road trip 500 miles from home. Replaced the alternator and still had no charge. Put a new ELD fuse in and everything works fine. Wasted $200 on an alternator that I did not need.
