Have used it for 4 years everyday non stop lately it displays "Self calibration" and "Service required". Escort does a tune up for $60. problem solved. Shipped it to them UPS Blue 2 day from California to Ohio, received it back 21 day later.
Ran with it for about 2 months seem like it never went off until the last second. no radar from two bars to full radar all with in a second. Figured some was not right

Sent it back
they said the antenna was broken while they serviced repaired it and blue labeled it to be 7 days with out. Ran it for 2 weeks now displaying "Self calib" and "Service required". DAMN Send it blue label again. This time they said they replace it with a new 8500 X50

got it in last night, working great now. Coppers not using their radar lastnight

How do you like that radar detector because i was looking to get one. The price is kinda steap but hey if it saves me 2 times then it more than pays for it.

now they have 9500i with gps and you can download it if you get a ticket and cop says you are going 75mph and you radar says 70mph.

Still with laser if your tagged only a blinder or shifter will help.
