Factory Audio Controls w/ aftermarket deck?

Factory Audio Controls w/ aftermarket deck?
I am sure this is a repost but I wanted to know what everyone did when they put in an aftermarket stereo? How? or did you get the audio controls (left of steering wheel) to work with the aftermarket deck?

there's the PAC SWI-X and the Modifry DCI
the first is available everywhere, but is a pain to install and has lag. the DCI is built exclusively for the S2000, is easy to install, and has no lag.
