Factory CD changer with Alpine IDA-305
So my S2000 was fitted with a factor 6 CD changer and I've just bought and installed an IDA305.
IS there anyway to make the Factory CD changer work on the Alpine IDA305??
On Alpine's install instruction, the other end of the wire on it's optional CD changer looks remarkably similar to those of HONDA's factory CD changer...

remember, search function is your friend.

So looks like I posted before I searched....
IDA-305 uses AI-Net and my OEM MY00 CD changer uses M-BUS.
No there aren't cables that connects M-BUS to AI-NET....
Bummer... does anybody want a M-BUS CD changer?

No you don't need to trim the door, but you can if you wanted to.
I used original Honda bracket, modified it a bit so I can move the HU backwards to clear the door. The bit that comes in contact is the top of the HU's knob - to the top of the radio door.
It looks okay, not the best fit - because of the excessively large knob....
