Default Few pictures of my system

well i bought my S a few months ago, and the previous owner installed a semi-decent system, but i want to go all out and make it satisfy my needs...

here is a picture of the sub set-up when i bought the car:

he had a 10" pioneer hooked up to a alpine v12 mrv-100m...weak sauce!!!

i only got a couple pictures of what i have....but my system consist of:

-eclipse cd5442 headunit
-diamond audio hex 6.0 components
-alpine 2/1 v12 amp powering the components...
-image dynamics 12" IDQ
-rockford fosgate bd500.1 powering the sub
-monster 1 farad cap
-rockford blocks and wires

if you guys want to see different pictures, i can try to take some more for you. but also i want to ask you guys what you think i should do with the back panel where i use to have the old sub, should i just put carpet over that black grill and make it look clean? or should i do somethin' creative to make it look better?

do something creative. See if you can mold a piece of fiberglass or something to fit the hole and have an s2000 logo in it or something. Just throwing ideas out there!

Did you install the Diamond Audio yourself? If so, what changes did you do to get it to fit correctly. I purchased hex s600s, and haven't installed them yet, because of the difficulty to fit them right without some work.

minty - i was thinkin' the same thing about puttin' like an s2k logo there, i may do that

speed- the previous owner installed the diamonds, i haven't taken off my door panels yet...but from looking through the grill he made them fit somehow, and he also custom mounted the tweeters right next to the speakers with some silicone...if i ever take off my door panels i will take a picture for sure.

about the diamonds, .. i have the same set in my door, . . i just cut a spacer O ring and used that to bring the whole speaker out some, . it still fits behind the door grill. whole thing took me maybe an hour, that included the tweeters. also i thinnk lucid sells a premade ring that will work with the diamonds, . .if they dont, , . i know i saw it somewhere, . .but its just as easy to cut your own.

just use that as a basis to make your own, . . take the speaker as a template, cut out a disk the size of the speaker, then use a jigsaw to cut out the inside of the disk so you have a ring, . .the ring should be about 1/2 inch width of the O part
