Man this board is addictive....Thanks to all for input and tech assistance on my install. Thought I would post some pics....completed the install 100% on my own...still have the cuts on my hands to prove it The more time I spend on this car, the more I love it. Just got a chance to go to AutoX school yesterday...think I have found something new to spend a few $$$ on....so, the stereo upgrades are done for a while.

Here is my list...modest, but more than enough for me. Probably could use a JL 250/1 on the sub....maybe someday. Otherwise, I am extremely pleased with the sound, even at highway speeds.

Sony CA750X HU
S2Kman DCU for the dash controls
JL 300/4 Amp-75X2 for the fronts, 150X1 bridged for the sub
BA Rally 6.5" Components
JL Stealthbox

Thanks again,
KaCee

I like the placement of the crossovers, I may have to try that location. Right now, I am planning on placing them together right behind the passanger side lower dash. I have the Infinity Perfect 6.1s and the crossovers are huge. I also like the tweeter placement. That is where mine are going for now. If I don't like the imaging, they may go to the a-pillar.

I just thought of something; the door would not be sealed anymore and the air from the woofer would leak out of the tweeter holes unless it was sealed somehow. It might be hard to fill those little holes, maybe some black caulk?

KaCee...where'd you autocross? Woodlands? Heartland Park? Old Bendix plant?

I went to Heartland park for their HPCC(high performance car control clinic) a couple of weeks ago....you should try it....had an absolute blast!
