Default Fix a voice coil?

Anyone know how to fix a voice coil on a DVC 1206T? I have one, and it's bad. The sub was never used. That's how it came. I got a refund, but I can't see throwing the thing out! Otherwise, does anyone want to buy it for parts?

Those subs are not rebuildable by the consumer... I'm not even sure if Audiobahn will rebuild it.

Basicaly you have a giant paperweight...

Make a power cord and shoot a video of you plugging it into the wall - should be good entertainment.

I think I saw a video of that once. Let's see, at 120VAC that's a 60Hz signal at 3600 watts across a 4 ohm load. Shit, too much current (30 amps). Although across an 8 ohm load that's only 1800 watts and 15 amps. Sounds like a winner to me!

I say dont do it. As much as I love pluggin speakers into walls, you get about 3-5 seconds of entertainment. I would come up with something more exciting. Got any pets?
