Clean power is. For high's, power isnt just power. You will defeat the purpase of a Focal speaker if you put a cheap amp on it. Not saying the Alpine is bad, but I wouldnt down grade to anything less.

 

I wouldnt put a BOSS amp into my car, but I wouldnt put Brax or Helix in there either. You simply will not hear the benefit.

 

I agree, not in this car. I also wouldnt cheap out on an amp if you can afford buying K2P's.

 

get a decent amp, over power them, and turn down the gains. Focals are great.

 

If the Focals are not a hell of alot more, then I may consider them, but like I said I would have to go with a more expensive amp...everything should be installed by next Tuesday!!!

 

 

I had Focal Utopia's before they went to the Utopia Be's, they where the most amazing speakers I had ever had the pleasure of hearing. I regret ever selling them.

I run now CDT's, good speaker, but they just dont have that Focal quality to the music.

Just completed my sound system (sounds awesome). Anyway, as soon as I get more possitive cash flow, I plan to upgrade to the 165K2P's and the 130KP's from my Spods

 

How much are K2P's going for these days???
