What volume is the enclosure, and how far much foot room do you lose?

no cutting, just have to remove the styrofoam glued to the carpet
inside box is about .5 cubes, you have about the same leg room as the drivers side if you measure to the pedals.

 

How thick is the styrofoam? Is it a block, or a layer (for sound insulation)?

 

angle piece about 2 inches thick, it is white you can not miss it.

 

what kind of sub it is? it is nice...how was the sound?

i was very impressed, this test car has a memphis 12 in the trunk, i am able to switch between the front and rear subs, it is powered by a memphis bell, i like the sound of the 10 in the front, i have not tried to put some heavy getto bass thru it yet, but it also was not designed to replace a big system, just to give great fill where sound in these cars really need. the real world test starts this week as the car will be driven and have th snot beat out of it to see if it worthy.

 

u were saying the exile is powered by memphis bell? sorry not know much abt audio. do u have pic that already put grill on top? thanks again.
