Thanks, I just orderd one, I might try mounting it to the windshield on the very left corner, or do what you did with the modifry, except mount it higher on the dash.

i have a tomtom and thought about doing a modifry bracket but i just don't go out of town frequently. what a waste, my gps unit is just sitting in the damn box. one day, i'll use it again. so far i've only used it to calibrate the modifry yellow jacket/box for the 4.77s...

oo yeah the mini storage strip under the passenger part of the dash houses my remote for my front gate with a small airfreshner to hold it in place so it doesnt rattle, also on the other side i put my cell phone (very thin and fits my verizon motorola Q very well)

2) garmin nuvi mount/ car kit: $25.99 free shipping
what does this kit consist of, and where did you purchase it from? it looks like you have it hardwired, vs using the 12v outlet?

They sell it on H&A.
Basically if you bought the nuvi 350 new for $200 on amazon, it comes with all that. But since the Honda GPS was made to be put in the Fit and CRV it had a special mount for those vehicles. The $30 kit gives you the missing parts that you would have gotten with just a nuvi 350. He just doesn't have the car power adapter hooked up in the photo since the GPS has a battery inside of it. Though you can hardwire a GPS.

the kit comes with a window attachment, a dash disk, a garmin case and a 12v car charger. you dont need to get the set since it comes with the garmin clip with the gps unit. you just need to take it off that ball joint and attach it to the modifry one then your all G! so the kit isnt needed.
