I'll leave it at that. I'm not offfended nor do I want to offend anyone else. However, I've grown tired of people posting what they "think" but don't know. A five second google search proved you wrong -- that instead of closing they have expanded. It's fine to make honest mistakes , but I don't want more misinformation on the forum. Simple as that.

speaking of misinformation, i was misinformed that they were closed. several people told me that they closed down. i live a few minutes away from them, to be sure that they did close, i drove by one day and noticed it was closed. without having a "moved sign", one would think that they have closed down.

anyway, misinformation will always happen. its something you have to live with. there are a lot on here, but instead of starting a flame war, i'd rather keep my mouth shut.

i have pondered about this in the past, and i came up with a few reasons how it happens. some people just dont like to be proved that they are wrong, so instead of admitting they are wrong, they go on about how they are right and lie to prove their point. then people listen to the person who sounds right to them, which could actually be wrong.

some people listen to a decent anything(amp, speakers, sub...) and swear they are the best. then people who trust their judgement, swear they are the best as well.

some people hear their friends talk about something and pass that info as if it were true.

basically, what i have realized in the past is, trust your own judgement and only take advice from a "real" knowledgeable person. a few people on this board who are considered knowledgeable really dont know what they are talking about.

I didn't realize you drove past and saw them closed down. That definitely is stupid of them (note that this can be in the lease contract that moving signs are not allowed. I have no idea either way here but in strip mall store fronts, at least, that can be the case).

Mr ASDF, I never meant anything against you here or anywhere else for that matter. Yours one of the posts that got me thinking but there's nothing more to it than that. I respect your advice and I certainly am not the world audio expert, nor do I claim to be -- I just initiated a discussion about the way advice is given on this forum. (The real thing that set me off was a few weeks back and included multiple personal attacks. I don't believe you were involved in that thread.)

I'm sure we'll meet at a drive soon enough. I can't wait to compare systems!
