Default hard top fold-down LCD

Options for putting a screen into the S2000 are pretty limited. However, I was thinking that the hard top might help me out here.

Has anyone ever seriously looked into working a fold-down unit into the underside of the hard top? Of course it would require some custom work to look reasonable, but it may beat the other options for an LCD.

Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of a roadster?

Many people buy the S2000 because it is a convertible.

Many people buy the S2000 in spite of the fact that it is a convertible.

Personally, I like both, but I'm only going to want the screen in there when I have a hard top on anyway.

I will say no!
2 seat car, convertible you will have room (space), visibility problems. I think that it will look ugly and a lot of $$$$ to make it "look good"

How much would you pay for something like that? Making these is on the table. I have the spare parts already for running it as a core setup.

Let's here what you have to say about it. If we have enough interest I'll start a groupbuy on them.

It will come with a screen as I have to mold it in. The screen that is to be used can be just about whatever screen that can fit between the sun-visors.

The "core" would be I'll send you the finished product and you ship me back the stock panel you remove. I'll get the blank stock panel back.
