Default Head units capable of controlling an amplifier ?

Are there any head units out there-besides alpine- which offer an internal control for amplifiers? I know the alpines can only control their own brand amp's but i was wondering what else is out there. I was also trying to figure out what this feature was called.

Any help?

One of the reasons why I belive Alpine can control their amps is that the newer Alpine amps....All the settings are digital. I would say 95% of amps on the market today are mechanical (you have to turn knobs for settings) and obviously, a headunit cannot control that.
