Have not done it on an S2000 - but did it on a 4Runner with leather.

Was a PITA to get the leather back on correctly - would bring it to a shop next time. Of course living in AZ there is not much need for seat heaters

It's actually pretty easy...considering I never installed something like this before and I did it all by myself. Remove the seats from the car and put and table. Seperate the back from the seat. Remove a bunch of bull clips or rings. Tape on the heating element and put back together. My biggest frustration was at the bottom the the seat back...seperating the plastic connection. You'll need a special too to crimp the bull rings.

Also, if I did it again, I'd move the heating back pad higher to cover the shoulder blades. Right now it's at my lower back. I didn't move it that high because I didn't want to feel the wire on my back. But to remedy this, I would cut a slit in the back foam and shove the wire in there and glue it back.

<--had it done professionally. And glad I did ...the leather stretches when you pull it off/back on and needed to be re-padded going back on. I guess it is all what you are comfortable with, and for me it was worth paying a competent installer to do it right the first time.

Disassembling the seats and getting everything back so it looks right is not for the faint of heart.

There is also wiring and switch installation to consider.

I had an installer do mine!

If you are asking, you cant do it. If you know how to work with hogrings, then yes, otherwise, let the pros do it.

Off subject, VintageMac, your car color choice is stunning. Nice to see someone do something original, and not the BS typical Imola orange. Looks beautiful.
