Default help!

hey guys...

just the other day, the cd player stopped loading the disc in. It would say load but it wasnt taking the cd in to be read. Has this happened to anyone before? Is it something that can be fixed easily or should i start looking into upgrading the damn thing?

Any thoughts would be helpful.. thankx

Considering how bad the OEM sound system is, I'd say it would be a decent idea to upgrade. I've got an OEM CD player I would almost give away at this point.

Mine wouldn't release the CD no matter what I did. I bought a like new OEM unit for $35 and installed it in about 30 minutes tops. There's a how-to document on here somewhere...

If you want better sound, upgrade the speakers. OEM headunit looks clean compared to aftermarket, in my opinion.

A baseball bat and old radios= a lot of fun and anger relief!

^Then you purchase an ipod ready alpine + modifry DCI...

You keep the cover closed and control with dash controls = clean, powerful, and good sound

Seriously upgrade. Kenwood Excelon and a modifry unit to keep you dash controls. I planned on installing a sub and all the goodies, but I got my trusty kenwood intalled and some hertz speakers and decided that a sub was heavy and no longer necessary.
