Help with Ipod
I got an ipod used from another S2ker and when I plug it into the computer and pull up i tunes it says the ipod is inaccessable and needs to be restored. I just want to download the music on it so I don't lose it. Can anyone help?
Apple tried very hard to keep you from doing just that.
However, you might have more luck looking around here:

If I can't find the answer here then i can't find it anywhere.
I bought this only because of all the songs. I could have spent another $70 and gottena new one. I didn't think about any legality. Now I would not like to format it and lose most of what I paid for.
Thanks

go to your folder settings click view and check view hidden folders
then just copy and paste it from ipod to comp
reformat your ipod
then load back up

The ipod works fine and has over 3200 songs on it. I can't get any of them.
