Default hm

I have a 02 s2000 and i never really hated my stock soundings...

but now i have some money to spend on

so i realize that i want some more bass...

I don't want to change my hu and either my speakers...

I have read all Q&A...

but there wasn't anything about only putting in amps and subs

so my question is will it improve bass with stock hu and speaker?!

is it worth it?!because all i really need is just lil more bass

thank you!!

ps it is basically installing only

"Box with Alphasonik 600 series sub and Alphasonik PMZ1600DA Mono amp: $410"

this... what will happen?

Yes, if all you want is to increase the bass level, you should be able to install a sub and amp and run it with the otherwise factory stereo.

You won't have control of the subwoofer volume level from the head unit that way.

Somebody else will have to advise on how to run cables from the headunit to the amp, as I don't believe the factory HU has preamp outputs. Most likely, you'd have to tap into the speaker-level outputs, and splice in the signal wires to the amp.

you could maybe use one of those basslink subs...i think thats what they're called...
Its a sub and amp in one I believe. Should do just what you need. Bass without overpowering the speakers.

well because some one is willing to sell

Kinetic sub box, sub, amp for pretty fair price to me

so installing this wouldn't be problem right?!

i think i'm just going to hand it to best buy for installation

because thats where this guy have sub and amp warranty on it...

yea like it makes more sense to just replace the headunit and get a modifry--- it maybe like a hundred or so bucks more in the long run but its worth it.
