Here's one!

The auto dim feature works Ok with the top up. The rear window is small enough that sometimes it seems to take a little more time that I'd like for the mirror to darken up when a truck or SUV somes up behind me. With the top down, the light sensor pointing aft gets hit full on by the following car headlights and it darkens up, "right now!"

The compass and temp readings are under the heading of nice to have but not that big a deal. The homelink works very well and I had absolutely no problems programming it to the two garage door openers we have.

All in all, I like it!

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

No pics, but Intrepid175 has that covered. Mine doesn't have the compass and thermometer, just Homelink and auto dimming. I don't need the thermometer here, it's always hot as hell.

You can find both types on ebay.

I'm not going to add the Prius trim piece that I mentioned before. As you can see in the photo, the mirror is so close to the frame that the wire is barely noticable, so I don't think it's worth the trouble.

I would love to get rid of the rattling garage door opener in my door pocket.
I have mine tucked under the strap on the glove box door.

That's ok if you only have one remote, but I need three. Also we live in a gated community, and the association will only issue one remote for each licensed driver, so Homelink is the perfect solution.

I got sick of having to get the door opener from my truck if I wanted to drive my car and vise versa. So I went to aclickaway.com and ordered me a keychain remote garage door opener and my problem has been solved. I don't use the Honda keyfob because I never lock my doors.

If you just want to secure the opener in an un-obtrusive spot, here's a cheap solution. As you sit in the car, just above your left knee, there is an empty spot under the dash about 4" wide and 3" deep. Place a piece of self adhesive velcro there and a piece on the back of your opener. This works especially well if you want to hide a big clunky transmitter. If you place it correctly, the buttons fall easily to hand and the opener is hidden from sight when you park.

Anohter *thumbs up* for Modifry's mod. I have mine wired up to the top cruise control button. My Genie intellicode remote happened to be +12v, so it only took me a few minutes to disassemble the remote, solder the button "circuit closed", then tap the cruise control wire and ground to the battery terminals.
