Default Hon-aux For My04?

My previous car was a 01 Prelude which I had the HON-AUX connected to the AUX of the stock head unit for my iPod. I bought the HON-AUX from http://www.installer.com/aux/. I called them to order another for my 2004 S2k and they said that the head unit in the 04 has a diffrent headunit and there is no connector that I can use through the AUX port.

Does anyone know if there is a connector that fits into the AUX port on the stock headunit so I can use my iPod.

Thanks

Scanman,

Can you use that device in addition to the factory CD changer? For example, so that I could have the option of using the iPod or the CD changer without unplugging and plugging.

Thanks in advance on any further input...

I am pretty sure you would need a Y conector if you don't have the factory 04 factory CD changer??

if you have the changer there should be a pigtail that would attach to the factory XM - if you don't have XM you could plug the pie adaptor into the X/M open pigtail

I don't have the stock cd changer so I just plugged the PIE-AUX directly into the head unit. I did check the pre-wired connector in the trunk for the CD changer/XM too, but the gender was the same as the PIE-AUX so I couldn't connected it there. There's a bus cable that comes with the CD changer kit which splits the connection in the trunk, but I think the gender would be wrong too. According to the comments on logjam, you probably can't use PIE-AUX with the cd-changer or XM, but I'm not certain.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES: The HON03/PC-SON works with non-navigation-equipped 2003-2004 Honda Accord, Element and S2000 with or without the 6 disc in-dash CD changer and will also work with the factory MP3 player too. If you have factory XM, you MUST disconnect it in order to use this interface.
