Does anyone know what make is the Honda original 6 CD changer? Has anyone tried connecting the CD changer to an after market head unit? Which brand of head unit is compatible with the Honda CD changer?

Thanks

Shane

I'm almost positive it's an Alpine unit.....do a search using the search feature.

Yes it's an apline changer. Ofcourse compatable with other Alpine head units. But...The stock head unit uses a different pin out system then the aftermarket units. I'm not sure of the compatability going changer to head, but I bought the cable to use my OEM Head unit with an aftermarket changer and it works flawlessly.

yeah...alpine definitely...i know you can buy different adapters for the changers....check with a car stereo dealer....specifically an alpine dealer....they would probably have a plug for you....
