I want to upgraded my 2004 s2000 stereo. How big of an amp is needed to power 2 6 1/2 componant speakers. I was think about a 200w 4 channel alpine amp but wasn't sure if that would be overkill. Would a 100w 2 channel get the job done.

 

A 200 watt x 2 should work well... depending of course on your choice of speakers. But on average that should be good.
