Default How can I tap into the parking lights ?

Where can i get to the wire with out tapping directly into the head lights?

I need to run an orange accessory wire, which sends a signal to a wireless remote to turn some fog lights on.

I only wan't to run it to the parking lights so that the fogs will only turn on when the headlights are on and not by accident so my battery dies.

Thanks

You could also tap into the red/black wire by the keyless entry module. It is located behind, and a little below the start button.

The thing that's labelled "lights". That's your power feed for the relay that will control your fog lights. Flip on the headlight switch to "park" or full on and your fog lights will operate.

What are you up to Frank? I've always wanted to do the fog lights in the fake ducts on my AP1.

Anywhere you take power from, you still need it to be activated by the headlight switch. That one I put up is a ready made one. No point in hunting down a more complicated source. Make sure you use a relay.

these fog lights have a relay box.

theirs:
2 positive wires : one for battery and one for fogs
2 negative wires: one for battery and one for fogs
1 orange wire: access. for the wireless remote
