yes i have done this many time, you would need to run signal to amp full range, no crossover turn on on amp, and then you would need to use a coil to set fq to sub, and cross over to your mids and highs....
I use to compete years ago this way, nothing wrong with it just limits tuning abilities, with what amps cost today (cheap) buying a good 4 channel amp, and bridging 1/2 the amp able to use built in crossovers and set gain independent is the only way to go.

I dont get people anymore, car audio is cheap today compared to 15+ years ago, you can buy a headunit for $150 that does wireless bluetooth, audio streaming and CD player with built in EQ and cross over, 15 years ago you would spend $700-1000 to get same, with the wireless tech..... get that crapy factory head unit out of your s2000, buy a decent set of speakers, sound deaden your doors, this should be the min anyone does if they want a decent sound. sorry for rant.

BTW how do you figure you have excess power from that amp?? You stated your speakers are rated at 60watts but the amp make 50watts... am I missing something? For all intents and purposes you've under powered the door speakers by 10 watts... although if you ask me and most guy that have been doing this gig for a while will tell you its always better to over power the speakers rather than under power them.

Just get a second sub amp and do it right.
Depending on the brand and quality of speakers... All amps have varying grade of efficiency and power, so more or less efficient than others, I cooked a pair of 10" subs rated at 150 watts RMS each off an amp rated at 300 watts RMS, Cooked them well and truly, wheras, I could have used another of the same amp and would've been fine.

I always use the 10% under as a safety precaution now, in all honesty, you'd be doing pretty well to notice the whole 10 watts extra
