Default How have people mounted their cross overs?

I was looking over the x-overs for my BA 6.5s last night, and noticed they have two pre-drilled holes for mounting. Preferably I wouldn't be driving screws into the side doors, as sharp object potruding to the outside are a bad thing. How have others with cross overs mounted theirs? Should I use some form of glue or epoxy to mount them rattle free to the doors? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have used sticky-backed velcro hook and eye tape - this works a treat in the cool UK climate (it also makes for very quick release of cross-over units for adjustment) - however in warmer climes, there may be problems with the tape glue breaking down and coming unstuck over time.

Other folks have used silicon sealant to mount their x-overs - this is less liable to heat degradation.

Yes. They are also quite useful in the bedroom.

Mike,

My point was that I love to use zip ties in my car audio installs... I use them everywhere and love to organize ALL of my wires and attach small pieces/components with them. Nothing beats zip ties for semi-permanent installations...

I can go through a bag of 100 zip ties over the course of a weekend...

Nothing kinky here!
