How to hook up amp power to battery?
I'm installing a 2-channel 150W amp under the driver's seat. I need to bring the power directly from the battery. Do I need to just install a lug on the wire and connect it straight at the battery or is there a more convenient place I can tap the power from inside the car? Thanks for any advice.

Absolutely not. You have to wire amps directly to the battery.
Remove the battery.
Look at the firewall, youll see a rubber grommet with wires going into it.
Shove your power wire through....this will take work, but it will go through. Grease the wire with vaseline to make it easier.
After about 3 feet, youll see the wire inside the passenger side footwell.

if you stick your head under the dash under the drivers side, and look up, youll see a gold bolt with lots of little black wires coming out of it....thats a ground bolt. If your head is resting on the pedals, look at the door hinge area....its in that direction. Kind of by the fuse box area.
