i bought it and installed it already. its a great product, works well and alows you to use your radio controls to use control your ipod. i recommend it!

 

Thats very nice but for 189 bucks is there anything that does the same thing but cheaper?

 

theres similiar products for cheaper, but than again i don't own a ipod, i have an mp3 player from creative, it uses similiar things like connecting to the cd changer port to rca female cables i believe than you just get some rca to 3.5mm and there you go.

Alpine has had a device like this for a long time and even displays all the info for the song on the radio face...

 

oh I forgot to add you need the Alpine head unit though... but I'm an alpine when it comes to head units.

 

Yeha i have the old school auxiallary imput that does the same thing minus the charging and the songs with the dash and radio controlls. I need to upgrade.
