I think the Alpine 9857 will be a top choice! Nice deck too. I do not have it but I have seen in a number of times. I think I saw it at bestbuy today for like 350??

I picked up my Alpine 9857 through Amazon.com for $270 (plus $30 extra for the iPod link cable). Don't forget to add $90 or so to pick up a Modifry DCI to retain your dash controls.

I selected this head unit based on the reviews here, particularly of the high-speed iPod link. I'm soldering wiring harnesses now, and putting the head unit in the car tomorrow, so we'll see -- but based on the reviews plus my initial read-through of the manual I think I made a good choice.

I have the 9857 in my S, but im trading the S next week so im going to get a Pioneer DEH-P9800BT for the Integra im getting. I dont have any complaints about the Alpine, just want something different. Link is below for crutchfield, and its on sale pretty cheap ($100 off original price). I cant vouch for anything about it except that from what ive read its very good, and would be an option aside from the 9857 that everyone will tell you to get.

The 9857 excels in the ipod connection, the Pio still uses the external box

I wish we could get a 9855 with the fullspeed connection.

Pioneer DEH-P9800BT for me too!

Awesome screen, Bluetooth capability, tons of sound options, and overall good price. The pioneer ipod adaptor sucks, but you can always just use an RCA adaptor to hook it up.

Alpine is also nice too, but I just dont like the screens, so much potential.

I can get you whichever HU you decide on. I like Alpine myself, I have a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP in stock, and I can give you a get deal on it.

Same here. Just got it installed tonight and totally rocks. So easy and fast to access all my IPod music. Highly recommend the 9857.
