Default I dont know what it is called

I am looking for the device (if any at all) that will process music (CDs, MP3s and stereo) so that any song will play the amount of Bass and Treb that I set for it. This would be different from my EQ on my amp or headunit.

If you need my stereo setup please let me know!
If such a device is out there, who makes a good one? What am I looking to spend for one?

Thanks in advacne for all your help guys N gals!

i have no idea what you're asking...

"I am looking for the device, that will process music, so that any song will play the amount of Bass and Treb that I set for it."

That's you're quote -the parenthesis.

I think he wants to be able to set specific bass and treble values for each individual song on say, an mp3 cd. I don't know if you can or why you would want to do that with a few thousand songs though.

Its a sound processor. Anything worth getting (like alpine's) is 3 grand. You do not need a sound processor in an s2k.

I guess Im just tired of listening to Song "A" that should be bumping hard bass but doesent. Song B comes on and does.
When I play both songs on my PC speakers they both bump hard. When I play them on my home stereo both songs bump hard. What can I do if anything at all to get my car stereo to play both songs with the same bumpin hard bass or clear trebble as it does else where.

My Setup:
Head Unit: Alpine CDA-7998
Amp: Alpine MRV-F340
Component Alpine Type Rs
JL Audio Stealth Sub.

Could the problem just be inproper Headunit EQ and Amp EQ tuning?

You might want to adjust the freq. responce on the amp. Songs have different frequencies of bass, thus if the sub amp is set at 80hz, it wont "bump" at 100hz. Put the threshold a bit higher.
