I'm thinking if it doesn't there's a mod I saw someone on the forums do where both sides are symmetrical with no antenna hole. So do you think I would need it with a updated head unit?

Mine antennae wire just plugged right into the supplied connector on my Alpine IDA-X100. Sounds pretty decent though I don't listen to the radio much.

agree with everyone. however, your dash controls won't work with an aftermarket headunit. you'll need to purchase a modifry harness for that to work.

My iDA-x303 works fine with the stock antenna. No issues.

You'll actually want the DCI. If you just get the harness you'll be severely disappointed as the harness is just a bunch of wires and connectors. The Alpine PnP harness (highly recommended) is pictured below along with the DCI and an Alpine HU.

And to answer your question.... yes your antenna will work. Just make sure you change your tuning mode when searching for stations (its the Play button)
